Flying off the handle?

So the back faucet is barely working as it is, but for now its all I have. I hope to find some time soon for a plumber to come out and fix a number of issues at once, including the two outdoor spigots, but until then I have to get by with this one.  The faucet can tend to leak if I am not careful, but on top of that, this is now the second time the handle broke. both were stolen from valves already on the property.  Now I finally broke down and spent the five bucks on a repair handle.  This one looks tough enough to last until the new faucet comes.
