Kitchen Preprations Ensue...

So the wall and ceiling surfaces were quite rough.  Plenty to scrape and spackle. 

Removed the light under the sink and started getting ready to replace it.

As can be expected, much dust was discovered behind the appliances.  Rather interesting compartment in which my fridge sits.  Less than a centimeter of clearance all sides.

As soon as the spackle dries, sanding then on to painting...
